Reconnecting energy - with intelligent data platforms

From 10 to 12 February 2026, the energy industry will meet at E-world energy & water in Essen. Robotron Datenbank-Software GmbH will be presenting powerful software solutions for stable, mass data-capable and future-proof energy data management in Hall 3, Stand J116. Under the motto "Energy newly networked", Robotron will show how intelligent platforms and data-driven processes specifically support the further development of the industry.

Solutions for the digital control of low-voltage grids, the integration of RLM metering into the smart meter gateway infrastructure (iRLMSys) as well as automated forecasts and intelligent sales and volume planning will take centre stage at the trade fair.

Redispatch 3.0 and grid control in the low-voltage grid

With a view to Redispatch 3.0 and increasing demands on grid control, the leading IT partner to the energy industry is presenting a platform for processing, evaluating and utilising measurement and grid status data. The solution links measured values, grid information and control logic to create a consistent, quality-assured data flow - from data acquisition and aggregation to the implementation of control actions.

Network and metering point operators are supported in areas such as system management, the mapping of the universal ordering process in market communication, the processing of iMSys and network status data in real time and the exchange of control commands via the BDEW Web API. In addition, Robotron's tool-based controllability check enables the verification and documentation of functioning control chains, even in cases where no control intervention is required.

CLS management and control box administration

Another focus of the trade fair presentation is on digital control with verification via the Smart Meter Gateway as well as CLS management and control box administration. Robotron will show how control actions, prioritisation and submetering can be implemented in practice and integrated into existing process landscapes.

The Dresden-based software company will also be presenting iRLMSys - the integration of recording power measurement (RLM) via smart metering systems. This extends the digital metering and control infrastructure to industry, commerce and large generation plants and makes a significant contribution to the digitalisation of the energy transition.

Automated forecasts and intelligent sales and volume planning

In the area of energy data management for suppliers, the IT company presents AI-supported forecasting methods and solutions for even greater flexibility in portfolio management. Data-based analyses, cluster processes and intelligent algorithms can significantly improve forecast quality and planning reliability.

Visitors to the trade fair will also learn how the enhanced tool for sales and tariff planning intelligently interlinks network and sales processes, creating a sound basis for strategic and operational decisions - from volume planning to active sales controlling.

Process-integrated financial accounting with robotron*finance365

With robotron*finance365, Robotron is launching its new process-integrated financial accounting solution for the energy industry this year. The software adds a central function to the Robotron energy market platform and enables a consistent, efficient meter-to-cash process for suppliers, metering point and network operators - from a single source and with mass data capability.
