Oracle APEX Community Meets at Robotron

On 9 September 2026, Robotron will once again host the APEX Meetup Dresden. The event offers Oracle APEX users and enthusiasts an opportunity to exchange ideas, explore the latest developments, discover best practices and connect with the local APEX community.

A special highlight of the evening will be the presentation by Carsten Czarski from the Oracle APEX team, who will be joining the Dresden Meetup for the first time. In his session, "Location Matters: APEX Map Region 2026", he will provide an overview of how the APEX Map Region has evolved since its introduction in Oracle APEX 21.1.

The presentation will focus on the latest features, performance enhancements and practical approaches to visualising large data sets. It will also demonstrate how the APEX Map Region can be combined with Oracle Spatial to build powerful map-based applications quickly and efficiently.

Following the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to network with fellow attendees and speakers in a relaxed atmosphere and exchange ideas with members of the Oracle APEX community.

The event starts at 5:00 p.m. at the Robotron Training Centre in Dresden. Participation is free of charge, and admission is possible until 5:30 p.m.
