At the end of 2022, E.ON Digital Technology confirms the expansion of its strategic partnership with the Dresden-based software company Robotron Datenbank-Software GmbH. This means that one of Germany's leading energy suppliers with 14 million private and business customers is relying on the software and many years of expertise of the market leader in the field of energy data management for its group-wide digitalisation.
Martin Liebetruth, Vice President Energy Data Management at E.ON Energie Deutschland GmbH, says: "A secure, reliable and innovative energy data platform is a high priority for us - also in the interests of our customers. Intelligent data is playing an increasingly important role in the energy market - and we attach great importance to handling it sensitively. Cooperation with Robotron has long been established in the grid sector. We have therefore decided to rely on the expertise of this strategic partner in sales as well."

This provides E.ON and the Group companies with an optimal starting position for the joint realisation and design of future-oriented energy industry processes. Another milestone is the introduction of the robotron*esales energy data management system for sales and procurement. E.ON Energie Deutschland GmbH is thus relying on a system solution that efficiently and automatically maps all necessary tasks and market processes as well as communication between the market participants involved in a high-performance platform. In the project, Robotron is also responsible for managing the application and the Oracle Cloud infrastructure at the Frankfurt site.
